There was a demonstration by farriers of the art of blacksmithing. We watched them making horse shoes and shoeing a large shire horse. We were told that one of them, who works in Newmarket, had never shod a horse that big before.
A young group of mountain boarders were performing jumps - it felt much saferbeing on the ground watching them!
